Jinhee Han is an award-winning composer from Seoul, now based in Boston and New York. After earning her DMA in Music Composition from Boston University, she continues to push artistic boundaries through innovative sonic explorations. Jinhee holds degrees from Hanyang University and a Professional Studies Diploma from Mannes College, studying under Robert Cuckson.
As Founder/Director of the American Women Composers Association in NYC, she collaborates with diverse projects like Lilac94, The Half Moon Project, and Concrete Timbre. Her works have been published internationally, including We Cry (Diaphonia Edition) and To My Daughter (University of Nebraska Press), with notable performances from Tokyo to New York.
Jinhee’s compositions blend visual art and architectural influences, shaping her unique soundscapes in contemporary music.
