So when I was imagining what philanthropy is… I was thinking of rich people in nice tux and evening dresses showing off their wealth by making extravagant donations at gala auctions.
Honestly, it feels like, it’s all about giving back. It’s about caring, bringing hope to a community, and investing back into it as much as we can. I always use to think it was about donating money, but really there are a ton more ways to give back than just writing a check.
Please allow me to introduce myself, I’m Moo Jae follower of Jesus, husband to my one&only Jinhee (married for over 15 years) New York-based wedding photographer/cinematographer for over 10 years, and who is addicted to some good cold brew coffee. I started my business at the end of 2012 and shot a wedding through Sandy anyways that’s another story.., I knew I wanted to incorporate some sort of charitable, philanthropic part to my company. This year 2022 we are donating 100% of our photo booth bookings to the charity to bring education to 5,000 children. It has been an amazing part of my business that brings me so much joy and helps so many children who are feeling hopeless.

But with your support, everything changes. Charity: education works with local partners to implement sustainable, community-owned education projects in remote communities. Since 2016, thanks to our local partners and supporters, we’ve brought hope and education to more children in remote areas.
