NYC/NJ/Boston Fine Art Wedding Photography

You might be wondering what is Fine Art Wedding photography? It’s typically known as natural soft light + natural light + beauty of the subject and shallow depth of field. On top of that color tones like pastel or ethereal beauty has close connection to it. As a NYC/NJ/Boston based photographer I would love to share my thoughts on the topic.

The approach to taking the naturally without being too posy or cheesy is very important and that itself is art. When moments happen on the wedding day they tend to happen very fast and it’s crucial your fine art photographer is like a ninja that knows his gear, and light and anticipates the moment to capture it. (Yes that’s a short description of our wedding photography style!)

We love to celebrate emotions, story telling, fun and uniqueness! My clients describe some of my work as candid or fine art style, My work started off heavily influenced by Fine Art Film Style. I fell in love with wedding photography because of creating and capturing moments for my friends to cherish forever! It helped me realized that I was able to connect with my friends at another genuine level with the moments I captured. After shooting nearly over 1000 plus weddings My style has evolved and I am consistently learning how to take my skill to the next level.

Hoboken Engagement Photography Session

I love the summer time because during the winter all I dream about is the warmer days so I figured its the perfect time to share Maryann & Robert’s Engagement Photography from few days ago. Plus I will be working on their wedding timeline for their big day coming up in October. These two are getting married at The Jericho Terrace and its going to be one epic day and we’re super excited for it.

In the meantime I have their photos to share that we did at Hoboken. For their session since Maryann used to live real close by Hoboken and they met there too! We met up with them in the afternoon and had the strong sunlight but they were troopers and beat the head to get some awesome shots. We started from Pier A Park where we had the place basically all to ourselves and they were just so cute together.

We also incorporated a few other Hoboken locations like the art that says Hoboken 150 Years of History, NYC Skyline and of course the cobble stone on Court Street. You’ll be seeing these two on the blogs again in October so get excited! It’s going to be amazing fall wedding!
