Wedding photography that captures every detail

A wedding is one of the most important events in a person’s life; this is the day when couples are joined together, making vows to one another witnessed by friends and relatives. The couple commit to love and cherish in good times and bad, in the face of whatever life throws at them. The colorful event is forever engraved in the couple’s and guests’ mind.

However, for this to be achieved, images must be captured in such a way that reflect the occasion. This is not a task for any photographer. You must hire an experienced hand, one that have handled and delivered artistic images that authentically narrate a beautiful story. A story like one told by a couple who cannot take their eyes off their wedding photos that were taken a year ago.

The creative couple is a perfect example of how a wedding should be. Their wedding photos tell a beautiful story, one full of love, hope and memories which inspire not just the two lovebirds but anybody looking at the images. The photographer mixed innovative photojournalism with cinematic portraits, and captured the beauty, emotions and moments that made the day special. This is what a perfect wedding photographer in New Jersey delivers; images that tell a sweet story, an inspiring caption that will keep your eyes glued to the faces, background and everything about the images.

Aware of natural light and the perfect way to capture the moment, a wedding photographer should transpose the beauty of life in the work. This is what was delivered for the wedding, where color was utilized, and observation maximized to capture the perfect images without missing the tiny details that a general photographer would miss. With focus on emotions, atmosphere and reaction of the day, the wedding photographer avoided manipulation and over production, delivering captions that are not just real but raw. The NJ photography professional celebrated along with the couple, making sure that joy and excitement were visible in all the images they captured.

Any creative couple who wants their images captured in a way that depicts sweet memories will want to have the NJ wedding photographer in their event. The photos that will be delivered double up as evidence of love and commitment that couple have for each other. It is a perfect moment to tell a story of your love, told with beautiful captions that will not only keep the memories alive but also inspire others.

Hoboken Engagement Photography Session

I love the summer time because during the winter all I dream about is the warmer days so I figured its the perfect time to share Maryann & Robert’s Engagement Photography from few days ago. Plus I will be working on their wedding timeline for their big day coming up in October. These two are getting married at The Jericho Terrace and its going to be one epic day and we’re super excited for it.

In the meantime I have their photos to share that we did at Hoboken. For their session since Maryann used to live real close by Hoboken and they met there too! We met up with them in the afternoon and had the strong sunlight but they were troopers and beat the head to get some awesome shots. We started from Pier A Park where we had the place basically all to ourselves and they were just so cute together.

We also incorporated a few other Hoboken locations like the art that says Hoboken 150 Years of History, NYC Skyline and of course the cobble stone on Court Street. You’ll be seeing these two on the blogs again in October so get excited! It’s going to be amazing fall wedding!

Amanda & Josh | The Asbury Hotel

Rain was in the forecast for Amanda and Josh’s Asbury Hotel wedding, so we arrived ready! The rain approached during the ceremony, and it was pretty impossible to stay dry, but its okay we had to just make it work and we did! Their reception at The Asbury Hotel was in a partially tented gorgeous room, partially opened, by this time the rain was gone and the breeze was amazing.

Most noteworthy, Amanda and Josh were incredibly positive and rolled with the punches. Braving heavy rain, wind, some leaks and flooding, and all this happened in the middle of a ceremony and they were smiling and laughing through it all. Because their amazing positive attitudes made all the difference, you can see in their photos that they continued to have fun the entire day.

Amanda wore a classically elegant Modern beautiful dress from Flora, had their hair/make up by Lock and Shade and the bridesmaids wore BHLDN . We love this color combination paired with the pop of pink with their beautiful bouquets, beautifully made by Spadaflora, and she wore Loeffler Randall and Vince shoes that looked absolutely perfect!

Amanda & Josh’s reception venue, The Asbury Hotel, is a brand new hotel that we’re just in love with. It has a modern and hip style that suits our couple. We love the industrial high ceilings and the white brick walls, which were perfect for portraits. The entire day wen’t smoothly thanks to EVJ Wedding Co. working hard through the rains. Oh and don’t let me forget that they had amazing music all night long from Jerry Kravat who nailed it!

Tara & Henry | NYBG

I don't think I could have dreamed up a more perfect day for Tara and Henry's New York City wedding. The ceremony took place in the lush gardens of the New York Botanical Garden and the reception was held in a gorgeous loft space in Tribeca. Every detail of their wedding day was carefully planned and executed to perfection. And, of course, the food was absolutely incredible (shout-out to Creative Edge Parties for always delivering)!

But what really made this day special was the love that Tara and Henry have for each other. They are such a fun-loving couple and their joy is truly contagious. It was an honor to be able to capture their love on camera and I am so excited to share some of my favorite photos from their big day with you!

The Ceremony

The bride began her walk down the aisle to Elton John's "Your Song," with her father by her side. Tara looked absolutely stunning in her lace mermaid gown and veil, which blew perfectly in the gentle breeze. The look on Henry's face when he saw his bride for the first time was priceless.

Tara & Henry opted for a traditional ceremony, filled with personal touches that made it unique to them. One of my favorite moments was when they had all of their guests blow bubbles while they walked back down the aisle as husband and wife!

The reception space was decorated with romantic string lights, which created a warm and intimate atmosphere. The tables were adorned with beautiful centerpieces overflowing with greenery, white hydrangeas, and candles.

After dinner, Tara & Henry shared a touching dance together as guests looked on and cheered them on. They then invited all of their guests onto the dance floor for an unforgettable night of celebrating!

It was such a pleasure to photograph Tara & Henry's New York City wedding. Their day was absolutely perfect from start to finish. If there's one thing that this lovely couple knows how to do, it's throw a great party! Congratulations again, Tara & Henry!

I had the pleasure of photographing Lisa and John’s wedding at the historic Tribeca Rooftop. The night was filled with love, laughter and beautiful views of Manhattan. Here is a sneak peek of their wedding story!

The big day started with finishing touches in the bride’s room at Tribeca Rooftop. Carolyn was surrounded by her closest family and friends as she got ready for one of the most important days of her life. The excitement in the room was palpable!

Once she was all dolled up, it was time for some portraits with just the bride and groom. We made our way to lofts nearby for some lovely shots against the cityscape backdrop. The chemistry between John and John was electric! They were so natural together, it made my job a breeze.

The ceremony took place on the scenic rooftop deck at Tribeca Rooftop, overlooking the city skyline. After they exchanged their heartfelt vows, it was time to celebrate! Guests enjoyed delicious food and cocktails while taking in the stunning views of Manhattan. To top it all off, we even had a dance floor set up under the stars.

Bethany & Glenn | Ace Hotel | NYC Wedding photography

Bethany & Glenn's Whimsical Ace Hotel Wedding in NYC

When Bethany and Glenn reached out to me about photographing their Ace Hotel wedding in NYC, I knew it was going to be a good time. These two are total New Yorkers, and their wedding day completely reflected that. From the minute they got ready at the NoMad Hotel, where Glenn surprised Bethany with a first look before their ceremony, to riding the subway together as husband and wife for the first time, to their reception at the Ace Hotel - everything about their day was super relaxed, yet so stylish. Oh, and did I mention they are so beautiful together? Keep scrolling to see all the fun!

Bethany & Glenn's First Look

Having a first look is such a great way to start off your wedding day. Not only does it allow you to spend more time with your guests during cocktail hour (which means more chances for me to snag some candid shots of you mingling!), but it also allows you to get all of your couples portraits out of the way before the ceremony. This means that when Bethany and Glenn were celebrating with their friends and family during cocktail hour, I already had plenty of beautiful portraits of them in my back pocket! And since we had already knocked out all of the posed portraits, we were able to spend more time focusing on candid moments during the reception. Everyone's a winner!

Bethany and Glenn's ceremony took place at Great Jones Hall inside the Bowery Ballroom. The space is small and intimate, which made it feel even more special. After Bethany made her grand entrance (seriously though, that stunner of a gown!), these two exchanged personal vows they had written for each other. It was seriously one of the sweetest things I've ever seen. These two are so obviously head over heels in love, and I feel incredibly lucky that I was able to document it!

Bethany and Glenn's reception took place inside of Ace Hotel, The vibe up there was super relaxed - just like these two! There were lawn games set up for guests to play, piñatas hanging from the ceiling (which ended up being put to use later in the night!), killer dance moves being busted on the dance floor - it was honestly such a good time.

Oh, and did I mention there was an ice cream truck?! Because yes - there totally was an ice cream truck. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint. ;) Thank you so much Bethany & Glenn for having me along to document your big day! Congrats again!! xo

I had such a blast photographing Bethany & Glenn's Ace Hotel wedding in NYC! These two are total New Yorkers, and their wedding day completely reflected that. From the minute they got ready at the NoMad Hotel, where Glenn surprised Bethany with a first look before their ceremony, to riding the subway together as husband and wife for the first time, to their roof top reception at the Ace Hotel - everything about their day was super relaxed yet so stylish.
